Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and analytical algorithm developer who wants to help build next-generation AI services for a larger organization in the energy and infrastructure sector.

You will be a key person in a long-term AI initiative focused on developing the mathematical models and algorithms that will form the foundation for future AI-based services. The project is planned to start in 2026 and will play a central role in how the organization analyzes production, customer-related data, and internal processes going forward.

The organization's ambition is to take a leading role in its market by building robust, data-driven solutions that support a sustainable and efficient system. To succeed in this, they are now looking for reinforcement in advanced algorithm development.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop mathematical models for optimization, prediction, and analysis of large and complex datasets

• Design and implement advanced machine learning algorithms that are part of the organization's AI stack

• Develop algorithms that form the core of internal AI services and decision support

• Work closely with both LLM developers and business experts to create a sustainable and scalable AI architecture

• Contribute to establishing working methods, guidelines, and structure for the continued development of the AI platform

Required Skills

• Documented experience in developing mathematical models for production, optimization, or predictive analysis

• Strong competence in machine learning and algorithm development based on large datasets

• Ability to translate business needs into robust, scalable, and efficient algorithms

• Very good understanding of data structures, modeling, and evaluation methods

• Ability to implement algorithms in practical code, such as in Python

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in teams with AI or LLM developers

• Experience in deploying algorithms, MLOps, or similar

• Familiarity with working in agile development environments

• Good communication skills and experience collaborating between technical and business-oriented roles

About the Position

The position is a part-time consulting assignment of about 80%. You will be employed by Eterni Sweden AB and work as a consultant for our client. The assignment is expected to last for one year with the possibility of extension (6 + 6 months).

Location: Jönköping (0% remote)

Start: Immediately or by agreement, 80% (32 hours)/week
